Facebook attorneys say they found “smoking gun” evidence that a New York man made up his claim that he has an ownership right to Facebook.
Facebook attorney Orin Snyder says in court filings Paul Ceglia is hiding electronic documents, in spite of a judge’s order. Details of the documents are redacted in court filings. Ceglia’s attorneys say Facebook has not handed over 175 emails from founder Mark Zuckerberg’s old Harvard University account. Ceglia says he and Zuckerberg signed an agreement in 2003 when he hired Zuckerberg to help him with a street-map database. Ceglia says Zuckerberg told him about his Facebook idea and they agreed to split the business.
