Do you wish you could take back something you sent into cyberspace?
You’re not alone. A Marist College poll finds 18 percent of Americans have posted something to the Internet that they regret. The group with the most regrets are those under 45, with 24 percent of those respondents regretting online postings. Twenty-one percent of men say they posted something they wish they had not, while 15 percent of women say the same. The poll finds half of Internet users believe social media sites do more harm than good. The poll questioned 1,003 Americans from July 15 to 23. It has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
