Discussions about a successor to Apple chief Steve Jobs are reportedly underway.
The “Wall Street Journal” reports that some Apple board members have been talking about who will follow the company visionary. The Apple chief has been plagued by health problems and went on medical leave in January. The “Journal” reported that the Apple board members had discussions about the position with the leader of a high-tech company. Jobs reportedly called the report of the discussions “hogwash” in an e-mail. Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook has been at the helm at Apple since Jobs took medical leave.
