As he himself might put it: this is a big bleeping deal — at least when it comes to the online world.
Vice President Joe Biden is taking to Twitter. The White House says the VP sent his first tweet yesterday — a Fourth of July message from himself and his wife Jill. It asked Americans to take time to think of the troops in battle. Biden tends to be, let’s say, a little on the verbose side and is prone to verbal gaffes, like the time he used a profanity to describe the President Barack Obama the enormity of passing health care legislation. But — like most politicians’ accounts — Biden’s Twitter feed will be written by his staff.
