Several motorists in the U.K. are trying to correct their driving records after becoming victims of a high-speed prank.
According to the “Daily Mail,” someone put up a fake 40-mile-per-hour sign in a 30-mile-per-hour zone. Witnesses say the speed camera posted in the area looked like a “strobe disco light” as people came flying down the road. The fake speed-limit sign has since been removed, but authorities are still trying to find the individual who’s responsible. Police are asking anyone who was wrongly cited for speeding to contact the authorities.
