People looking to take in a movie can now find more than three-thousand of them to rent on YouTube.

Various Hollywood, foreign and independent films are available for 99-cents to three-dollars-99-cents each.  They include Oscar winner “The King’s Speech” to classics such as “Taxi Driver.”  Deals were struck between YouTube and studios such as Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures and Lions Gate Entertainment.  The goal for Hollywood studios is to use social media to make advances in potential distribution channels as well as marketing.
