Osama Bin Laden Sets Twitter Record?

Everyone was tweeting about the death of Osama Bin Laden on Sunday night.

“The Hollywood Reporter” says a new Twitter record was set when an average of three-thousand-440 tweets per second were posted between 10:45 p.m. and 2:20 a.m. Eastern. The messages were at their highest when President Obama spoke to the nation, and the site averaged more than 51-hundred tweets per second. There is no word on what event led to the previous record for most tweets per second.
