We Are Becoming More Machine Than Man!

The iPod of the future could be powered by the human heart.

That’s according to scientists who have developed a microchip that uses the body’s own movement to generate power.  Hailed as a milestone, the nanotechnology can use tiny movements such as the pinch of a finger to generate power.  Researchers say as the technology improves it could lead to electronics that don’t require batteries or power supplies.  The current generation of five nanogenerators produced about the same voltage generated by two regular AA batteries.  Scientists say that represented a device thousands of times more powerful than its predecessors.
