Former Obama administration press secretary Robert Gibbs is reportedly in talks with Facebook about a senior-level job.
“The New York Times” cites sources briefed on the negotiations in reporting Facebook is interested in Gibbs as the company prepares for an initial public offering in 2012. The sources emphasized that negotiations between Gibbs and the social media giant are still fragile and could collapse. It’s reported the former press secretary could make millions in salary and stock from the Facebook position. Gibbs served as press secretary for President Obama for two years before departing in February.
